Teochew food in Bendemeer
I would rate Guan Hin as one of the top 10 Teochew restaurants in Singapore. Guan Hin has authentic Teochew food like braised goose, prawn and liver rolls, orh nee (yam paste with ginko nuts) and eight-variety vegetables. One rare Teochew dish served at this restaurant is the chai poh kwey teow. You have to ask for it as it is not listed on the menu. All the dishes were cooked in traditional Teochew style. Service here is friendly and there is no service charge. Guan Hin restaurant is located in the corner of Blk 34 Bendemeer Road.

There's a Teochew restaurant called Liang Kee along Havelock Rd (a few blocks away from the old Isetan office). The bittergourd with fried fishhead, coffee pork ribs and yam paste are good. Other dishes a not bad too.
