Fish n Chips n spaghetti in Toa Payoh
Imagine paying $4.50 for restaurant quality food? Well, in Toa Payoh you can get restaurant standard spaghetti and fish and chip at only $4.50. When we were there for lunch at 11am, we noticed that they have just finished preparing a big pot of shiitake mushroom sauce. The sauce looks so tempting we decided to order a plate. It was really excellent. Fish and chips is their signature dish. The fish and chips were deep fried in a tray of fresh oil. But you don't the oily or deep fried taste. I was told the baked chicken here is very good. But it was not ready. Cafe Wok Inn Fish and Chip is located in a newly set-up coffeeshop in Blk 177 Toa Payoh Central. While there try a cup of tea or coffee serves in traditional tea cup.
