Peanut porridge in Amoy FC
My fav breakfast is a nice hot bowl of peanut porridge and a plate of fried beehoon. Simple food with no frills. The peanut porridge by Hai Ji is done the traditional cantonese style. Small quantity of rice boiled in lots of water, add some ikan bilis, dried oysters and peanuts and you have a very tasty and healthy pot of porridge. The fried beehoon is so so but goes well with the porridge. Hai Ji is on the ground floor of Amoy Food Centre. The porridge is available till 10.30am Mon to Sat.
