Ayam Penyet in Beach Road

Smashed chicken is the English translation of Ayam Penyet. This is a popular Indonesian dish brought to Singapore by Prima Ria. The chicken is first "smashed" to make it tender and then deep fried with a special batter. Each plate costs $5.00 and comes with a piece of chicken, tahu, cucumber and sambal belacan. The gado gado here is good. They should not have added chocolate into the avocado drink as it kills the taste.
