Chicken Rice in Bishan
A hugh banner outside Blk 279 Bishan St 24 proclaims the chicken rice sold at this coffeeshop is prepared by an Ex-Mandarin Hotel Chef. I can't remember the taste of Chatter Box's chicken rice but the presentation here is similar (See photo below). I like the rice which is grainy and not oily. The chicken meat is tender. The chilli sauce is so so but the ginger sauce is very good. At $3.50 per set (compared to $12.00 at Chatter Box) it is worth a visit. Available for lunch only.
