CKT, KongBak and Mee Rebus in Havelock Road

This is an interesting coffeeshop. Three of the four stalls here are highly rated by food guides. My favorite is the Char Kway Teow stall. The CKT ($2/$3) is slightly on the wet side. Very tasty. Next is the Mee Rebus, rated 5 chopsticks by Makansutra. The Mee Rebus ($2.00) comes with thick gravy and is quite delicious. The Cza Char stall is not rated but I like the KongBak pau ($2.50 for two buns). The KongBak is very well marinated and the bun is served steaming hot. The duck rice and porridge stall is very popular with the lunch time crowd. I only tried the porridge ($3) and found it to be average. Wei Xuan Eating House is at Blk 22 Havelock Road. Available for lunch only except for the Cza Char stall (L/D)
