Nasi Briyani behind Golden Mile FC
You would probably not notice this stall even if you step into the coffee shop. There are no food on display, no signboard to tell you what they are selling. But nearing lunch time a queue will start to form. Most customers don't eat in. They usually "tapau" 3 to 5 packets of nasi briyani. By about 2pm, the big steel pot of briyani is sold out. They don't sell anything else except chicken and mutton briyani. The briyani rice here is very fluffy and flavourful. Instead of using too much saffron, they use a variety of spices and condiments to cook the rice. The chicken briyani is the best. The chicken is tender and the dry curry is very tasty. They will give you a plate of dhall curry to go with the rice, but you don't really need it, although the dhall curry is also very tasty. Mohammad Muslim Food is located in a coffee shop in Blk 17 Beach Road, just behind the Golden Mile Food Centre.
