Nasi Padang in Keong Siak Street
I overheard a couple telling the owner of this nasi padang shop that they have been eating here for the past seven days trying out various dishes. They singled out the beef rendang and red curry chicken as their favorite. I must agree with them. The red curry chicken is cooked in a rich coconut gravy and is the shop best seller. If you like it less spicy, go for the green curry chicken. The beef rendang is cooked in dry curry till tender. The otak is fresh and full of fish meat. The grilled sotong when eaten with the special sambal sauce is sedap. Also try the lontong gravy, sambal kangkong and brinjal. Skip the mutton soup and potato cutlet. Yanti Authentic Nasi Padang is at 45 Keong Siak Street. Open for lunch and dinner.
