Wonton Mee in Jalan Kayu
Jalan Kayu is famous for its roti prata. But new eateries are starting to crop one. He Ji Noodle is one of them. This shop sells wonton noodles. The noodles here are special. The art of making He Ji noodles has been past down from two generations. The noodles are good. It is a mid-point between mee kia and mee pok. The char siew, too, is very tasty. However, the chilli sauce they are tossed in is only so so. Try the fried wontons, they are quite good. He ji is open from 11am till about 11pm.
