Hunan Food in Novena Square

The Tung Lok Group recently opened a restaurant in Novena Square serving Hunan food. As part of its opening special, selected signature dishes are offered for lunch at $9 each. We tried the chicken with chilli ($9), pork ribs in glutinous rice ($9), rice steamed with preserved meat in a bamboo bowl ($6), steam DongPo Bun ($3.50) and pan fried dumpling ($3.50). We liked all the dishes, especially the spicy chicken and rice steamed with prserved meat. For dessert we had the deep fried pumkin. For drinks we ordered the very refreshing the ginseng with chrysanthemum tea at $3 per person (free flow). House of Hunan is in the 3rd level of Novena Square.
